Irina has more than 30 years of teaching experience - first in Russia, where she worked at the Novosibirsk Academy of Music (Piano Department) for 10 years, then in the Jerusalem Conservatory of Music (for 7 years) and here in Canada (Alberta College) and in her private studio in Edmonton.

Many of Irina's students stay involved in the music scene after graduating. Anders Muskens, Irina's former student, organized several Mozart Festivals in Edmonton, Alberta. It has been 3 years before it was recognized as an Annual Festival, where Anders performed every year. For more information about these Edmonton Mozart Festivals, please click here.

Irina's students play twice a year on students' recitals and participate in Kiwanis, Fall Festival, as well in the CMC (Canadian Music Competition). Some of them went on to Provincial and National levels.
Esther Zhu, another one of Irina's past students, was invited to perform on an Edmonton TV show. After moving to New York, she was admitted to the Julliard School of Music.
